Fair CatchHOOKEDIN-FAIRCATCH-1

Stake anything. Every sat has the same chance. Winner takes the pot.

A winner-takes-all pool with no fixed ticket: stake any amount, from a single sat, and your chance of winning the whole pot is exactly your stake’s share of it. The only charge is Luckotto’s flat ticket fee, added on top and shown before you buy.

How to play

Fair Catch is a winner-takes-all pool.

  1. Choose your stake

Any amount — one sat up. Luckotto’s flat ticket fee is added on top and shown before you confirm, so every sat of your stake goes into the pot.

  2. Your stake is your chance

Your chance of winning is exactly your stake’s share of the whole pot — every stake on the draw included. Twice the stake, twice the chance.

  3. Winner takes the pot

Win, and the entire pot is paid to you, whatever you staked. No tiers, no splitting.

Your odds

Your stake’s share of the pot. That is the whole game.

Everything staked on the draw — by anyone, in any game — piles into one pot. Your chance of winning it is exactly your stake divided by that pot, and a win pays the entire pot.

Your chancestake ÷ potThe pot is 0.00029700 BTC right now. Stake 0.00100000 BTC and your chance of winning is exactly 0.00100000 ÷ 0.00129700 — no other draw, no tiers, no second hurdle.
Your prizethe whole potWin, and the entire pot is yours — every stake in it, whatever you put in. A one-sat stake wins rarely, but when it wins, it wins everything.
As the pot growsnothing is skimmedEvery new stake lowers your chance and raises the prize in exactly the same proportion, so your expected return is always your stake — the flat ticket fee is the only cost.

Under the hood the pot settles through a published two-stage draw whose stages multiply out to exactly stake ÷ pot for this game. The full machinery, and how to re-run it, is on the provably fair page.

The rules

How winning works

  1. You choose your stake — any amount, one sat up. Luckotto’s flat ticket fee is added on top and itemized before you buy, so your full stake becomes pot contribution.
  2. Your chance of winning is exactly your stake divided by the whole pot at close. Every new stake, from any player, lowers your chance and raises the prize in the same proportion — your expected return is always exactly your stake.
  3. Win, and you are paid the entire pot. The draw machinery underneath — seeds, manifests, partner selection — is published on the provably fair page, and it multiplies out to exactly stake ÷ pot.

A worked example

Say you stake 0.01000000 BTC and the whole pot — every stake on the draw — stands at 10.00000000 BTC when the round closes. Your chance of winning is exactly 0.01 ÷ 10.00: 1 in 1,000.

Win, and the whole 10.00000000 BTC pot is yours. A tiny stake wins rarely, but when it wins, it wins everything.

Fine print that matters

  • The flat ticket fee is the only cost, passed through at exactly what Luckotto bills Hookedin per ticket. It is added on top of the stake, never taken out of it.
  • Chance scales with your committed stake down to the sat — whales and minnows share one pool.
  • The pot is whatever everyone has staked when the round closes. It is not fixed and moves until then.

Settlement is faircatchDraw() in /faircatch-draw.js — the exact file Hookedin runs, servable into any browser tab. Verify a round.

If you win

How you actually get paid

In Bitcoin, on-chain, to an address you choose. A prize is never added to your Hookedin balance — the balance only buys entries — and there is no claim form: being reachable at your sign-in email is enough.

  1. The moment the round settles, the win is recorded against your entry and a notification goes to your sign-in email address. You do not need to do anything to claim it.
  2. Luckotto pays Fair Catch’s complete prize on-chain to the game’s public payout address, which Hookedin operates. That payment is part of the public round record, so you can watch it land.
  3. A person from Hookedin then writes to you from support@hookedin.com to arrange your payment. You reply with a Bitcoin address you control — the choice of address is yours alone.
  4. Hookedin sends the prize to your address and gives you the transaction ID.

Worth knowing

  • Paying winners is a person’s job, done over email — deliberately not automated. The two emails above are the whole process.
  • We never ask you to send anything to receive a prize — no fees, no deposits, no wallet seed phrases. Anyone who asks is not us.
  • Won and heard nothing? Write to support@hookedin.com with your entry ID from your account page.
